How to price tote rentals

Start with named packages, not a per-tote riddle

Movers do not want to math 37 bins. Sell a stack with a time window: studio or apartment × 1 week, house × 2 weeks. Put delivery in the package or as its own line. Three or four packages is enough to start.

Delivery and extra miles

If most jobs are in one zone, include delivery in the package so the site is easy. If some ZIPs are far, add a trip fee you publish. Do not invent the fee in the driveway.

Extra time and keep-a-tote

Extensions should be the extra week on the same order. Buying a tote to keep can sit on that order too. My Rental (their order page) lets them add time or keep a tote without another quote thread, inside the rules you set.

Damage and missing

Publish a missing or damaged fee. On Core you mark a count on the order. You do not need to scan each tote. The customer should see the rule before they book.

What ToteHQ Pro does with your prices

You set the packages once. The site shows that menu. Paid bookings use those numbers. On Core, ToteHQ takes 10% of each charge until a $99 monthly cap. After the cap, 0% until the 1st. That share is taken on the same payment — not a second checkout. That is not a second customer price.
